Anakin felt a little hungry after he had finished stayed in another motel room for over a few hours. He walked into the diner and looked around with a slight smirk. He walked over to a table and took a seat and looked into the menu.

Esmeralda made her way to the local diner to get something to eat, she'd had a long day and she was tired. She needed some strong alcohol to make her feel better. As she enters the the restaurant, she immediately becomes uncomfortable as she notices a rather drunk looking man approaching her. As he starts hitting on her she desperately tries to excuse herself and not make a scene, but he grabs a hold on her arm and is surprisingly strong for being so drunk.

Anakin heard a glass break and he looked up from his menu to see anobvious drunk man trying to have his way with a dark skin. Being a Jedi he swore to protect the innocent no matter what. He stood up and walked to the man and pulls him away. "Maybe you should leave the woman alone. She obviously doen't want to be with you. I can see why." The man grew angry and drew a knife. Anakin easily dodged the mans attekpts to stab him. Through playing Anakin grabbed his lightsaber from his hip turning on the blue blade and slice the kinfe out of his hand. He gave a glare making the man run out in fear. Anakin smirked twirling his lightsaber before turning it off. He looked to the woman with a worried look. "You okay?"

Esmeralda gives him a skeptical glance, "I should be alright. Thank you... but was the light show really necessary?" Part of the reason she hadn't pulled her own knife on the guy was so she wouldn't have to draw attention to herself. She was grateful he came in and did something though, many men would usually just stand by and laugh, or worse, join in.

Anakin shrugged as he gave a friendly smirk on his face. "Just a little extra warning not to try and do it again. Well I'll just leave you to your business if you don't need anything else." He gave a small smile as he went back to his table and picked up his menu. When a waitress came by he gave his order. He ut his menu down and sat there paitently.

Esmeralda looked around, and as the diner was rather busy tonight, she didn't see many open seats. She shrugged and made her decision. She walked over to the man who had just helped her, "I don't want to seem rude, but would you mind if I sat with you? This place is quite busy tonight."

Anakin shrugged as he gestured to the seat in front of him. "Go ahead and don't worry I won't try anything." He gave a light chuckle as he looked up at her. "Well Since we're here I may as well introduce myself. I'm Anakin Skywalker." He smiled offering his left hand with a smile.

She reached across the table and shook his hand as she introduced herself, "I'm Esmeralda, thanks again for your help." Esmeralda gave him a quick once-over and smirked, "And depending on the guy trying, I usually don't mind, but he just wasn't my type."

Anakin shrugged his shoulder as he looked at her with a smirk. "Yeah well he seemed a little pushy if you ask me." There was a spark on his right arm and he groaned in annoyance. "Not again." Esmeralda had never seen anything like it in her life, in 15th century France the most advanced prosthetic arms they had were wooden. She openly stared in amazement, so many of her kin could have used this technology, "How is that possible?" she asks in an awed voice, not caring whether or not she was being rude.

Anakin looked up at her a little confused then he remembered that people from different worlds and times were here so he shouldn't be entirely by her reaction. "Where I come from this is as close to replacing an arm as we can get. Ironic since a weapon I use was used to cut off my arm." He looked back to his arm as he made the final adjustment.

Anakin nods as he puts his glove back on and made hande gestures from his right hand. "Yep. Though I wouldn't want to arm wrestle with this arm. I would break your arm off easy." He chuckled with a small smirk as his steak and potatoes came. "Thank you." He smiled as he eat slowly to enjoy the taste.

Esmeralda smiles at the waitress, "I'll have a strong ale if you don't mind." She turns back to Anakin, "So you're a strong fighter with a sword, are you a soldier?"

Anakin shook his head as he looked at her putting his utensils down for a minute. "No I'm no soldier. I'm a Jedi a peace keeper for a better term. I help solve disputes between peoples and if nesscary stop crimnal underworlds. But I only fight to defend myself or other innocents. Besides that's not all I can do." He looked over to a salt shaker and held his hand up. The salt shaker came floating into his hand from across the bar to his table. He smirked as he put salt on his steak.
