Isabela and her crew were out to find treasure they'd found marked on a map, when she saw a ship burning in the distance. Isabela sailed towards it to see if there might be anything useful left, when she noticed a woman nearby on some driftwood.

Rubi was on the driftwood sitting on it and soaking wet. She was drinking whiskey as she looks up "Going to try and kill me as well?" she asks sober as she glares at the large boat.

Isabela shrugged, "Do you plan on causing trouble?" she asked.

"Only if you try to molest me or piss me off. Otherwise just a bottle of whiskey and you got a guest" she says. She was definitely from another world as she finishes the bottle and tosses it into the water.

Isabela watches her with interest, "Sorry, we only have rum," she noted absently as her men threw a rope to Rubi.

"Good enough" she says. She climbs up as she pulls out one of her guns "Anyone tries anything and a bullet in the head" she warns. She finds a barrel and sits on it as she holsters her revolver.

Isabela raised a brow, "My men know better than to pull any shit like that," she told Rubi in a stern voice, insulted that the woman thought so lowly of her crew. "They won't touch you, unless you want them to."

"Yeah last captain said the same thing and look at his ship" Rubi says referring to the burning debri around them.

Isabela glared at Rubi, "If anyone is going to mete out punishment on this ship, it will be me, their captain, not you. You're just a drifter that I've taken in. And I don't give out charity freely," Isabela growled, throwing Rubi a scrub brush, "I want his deck sparkling by tomorrow morning," she warned, "Or you can find another piece of driftwood to float on." She liked women with spirit, but Rubi would have to learn her place. Isabela was the captain of this ship, and she wouldn't put up with anyone questioning her crew or challenging her authority. Besides, Isabela's crew had been trained well. None of the men would lay a hand on Rubi unless she made it explicitly clear it was ok, because they knew there would be hell to pay at Isaebla's hands if they did.

Rubi looks at it "I'm no damn cabin boy. I'm a fighter and prefer to fight the opponent. I'm not challenging authority here and besides what if I want to pay for a trip on here. Or perhaps find a different way to be on this ship?" she asks with a smirk.

She leans back "Gunmanship, swordsmanship, and" she stops tossing a bag of 70 gold "Stuff I stole from the ship I WAS on" she says.

Isabela eyed the gold and nodded, "This'll get you passage to the nearest port we stop at," she told Rubi. "Though it'll take a few days to reach. You can sleep down below with the men. They won't touch you. There's an extra bed our old cabin boy used until he fell in love with a woman and left us, you can use that."

She nods "I'll still keep my guns close. In case of a attack" she says, Soon a cannonball flies between the two as Rubi looks over "Well... guess they are pissed about the ship" she says.

Isabela shrugged, "Do as you like," she responded simply as one of her men fired back, blowing another hole in the hull of the ship, "Just don't attack any of my men. If you do, I'll leave you to the sharks."
