"Well better then a boring ride right?" she asks. The ship seems to dodge attacks and get in close to try and take out Isabella's sails. Rubi sees this and hops on over firing and killing the cannonners of the marine ship with her pistols, before starting to cut others down as a distraction.

Isabela sighed and pulled out her daggers, swinging over to the the other ship on a rope and dropping down into the fray. She quickly cut down those around her and used a couple of the new bodies for a shield from the bullets.

Rubi shot back killing them as she seems to enjoy the fighting as she hops up to the captain and starts a sword fight with him.

Isabela was genuinely impressed with Rubi's skill. She just wished the girl could follow orders a bit better. Isabela couldn't afford to waste her time convincing her crew to obey her, so she wasn't sold on inviting the new woman to join her just yet.

Rubi seems to get some blood on her face as something started to changed. She seemed to go more wild in her fighting as she fired at more marines and swing more, even taking down a few of the more tougher looking marines with ease.

Isabela chuckled, at least Rubi was temporarily useful. She then sliced through the men around her and threw one of her daggers, burying it deep in the Captain's throat.

As soon as it was over Rubi looks around and wipes her face of blood as she seems to calm down considerably from her little wild fight as it seemed.

Rubi looks over and shakes her head "No. Damn doc says I got some mental condition called 'WET' where I go into some mental frenzy from blood being spilt on my face. Hell if I know, I never trusted those damn coated people, do a bunch of tests just to run up a price" she says as she finds some rum on the ship.

Isabela nodded, turning slightly more serious, "Are my men in danger from it?" she asked. She didn't mean to be harsh, but she was protective of her crew. They'd all done well by her.

Rubi shakes her head "No. To me in my 'weird world' it seems my enemies are white, but allies are grey. I don't know how to explain it, hell it still freaks me out" she says.

Isabela chuckled and nodded, "Alright then," she agreed as she cleaned the blood off of her daggers, "We're headed to the nearest port, which should be Tortuga. We'll drop you off there," she assured Rubi as she headed to the Captain's cabin to see what loot she could find.
