As Red saw that he was trying to at least act positive of his past, he knew that he was a person that could bounce right back into the groove of things. "Well, good thing that you always stayed positive, like I did." He said, and gave him a pat on the back. Red did lose a couple of battles at the time but, he was one of those people to get himself back up. He had to learn that getting mad and being sad isn't going to get rid of a loss. He did see him thinking about someone and he smirked that he thought that he was thinking about one of his fangirls. So, he gave him a small poke on the shoulder with a small chuckle. "Well, looks like someone is thinking about a fan." He was not sure on how he was going to react to his playful tease. He then saw the blush again from him when Red mentioned that he would be happy to travel with him and as Red saw his face, he cocked his head as though he was getting a little confused. It was just a compliment of themselves just traveling together. He then heard Green mentioning that it would have been a good time by themselves traveling together and when he got up to the "discovering things" part in his statement, Red was a bit confused. Discovering things about each other? "Ok, by that last part, do you mean our tips that we give to one another like, styles of battling?" He was not sure what Green meant. He saw that Green was changing the topic, and he was not sure why he was changing the subject all of a sudden. When he asked about his mother, he smiled. He never spoken to his mother in a while but, assumed that she was doing ok. "Um, she is doing well. Mr. Mime is still a good housekeeper. How is yours?" He asked as Pikachu went on Red's shoulder. As Red saw that Green accepted his battling challenge, he got out his Charizard to battle him. "Ok, which one do you want to battle with?" Red asked, as he got his battle face on.

Green looked at Red with a bright smile "Well you know,you learn a lot of things while your out there wondering the world." he responded looking longingly at the sky without letting the smile fade off of his face.He knew Red had learned a lot since they first battled in their way to the first city gym as had him,a good example would be the concept of loosing a battle which before seemed 'unacceptable' now just felt like a possibility of the battle's outcome.As Red mentioned about the person he was thinking about being a fan Green simply giggled "No silly,she's actually a girl who i met some time before i beat the champion and went searching all over Kanto for battles,believe it or not i owe a lot of who i am now to her,she really opened my eyes."He said remembering his best friend Yellow.But as soon as Red mentioned his mother Green's happy upbeat smile contorted into a sad frown as he remembered his mother had passed away a few months back,as a tear was about to fall from his face he whipped it away showing once again a bright smile as he,once again,looked longingly at the sky "She's in a better place now,a place where i know she'll be able to see me accomplish my dream and make her proud"he said glancing over at Red.As Red let out his Charizard,Green simply reached for a random pokeball and threw it,as it opened it revealed his Rhydon,Green looked rather surprised since he randomly choose a pokemon who he hadn't let battle in a while,he went over to Rhydon petted his head lightly as he prepared it for battle.

As Red looked at Green with this beaming smile and thought he did learn a lot of battling when being out there. "Yup, you are right on that part. I did learn about all sorts of Pokemon, battling strategies, and some berries that help cure some Pokemon when injured our hurt." He commented with a smile coming across his face. He did learn about Green when they first met and even getting their first Pokemon together. He did remember their first battle together and thought that losing a battle meant that he had to train harder with his Pokemon, which he did. He turned to Green who did meet him when traveling through his travels and his mind went blank and then remembered that this girl's name was Yellow. "I think I know who are you are talking about.." He said and did see that girl walking around, but did not have the time to battle her as he was just concentrating on his journey. "She opened your eyes to becoming a better trainer, I'm happy for you!" He said and gave him a high five. He was pretty glad that Green met someone that he can look up to while battling. Red did battle some people along the way, but didn't have time to make some friends. He then saw that Green's smile did turn into a frown and remembered that his mother passed away and he patted his back. "Hey, Green, she will always be in your heart." That's what my mom told me to tell you. He said and gave him a friendly hug to show that he still cared for him when his mother died. He then heard him saying that she was in better place and Red was happy that his positivity rubbed off on him. "That's it! Think positive! She'll be proud of you, no matter what." He said and and got up next to his Charizard. He did smirk at Green when he saw him with his Rhydon. "Nice, you caught that. Now, do you want to start it off, or should I?" He asked and got his battle face on next to Charizard's who growled as though he was excited to battle as well.
