Meeting with an old friend (tag:Red) (Mature...maybe?)

When Red was walking around the park, it was a beautiful day out for searching for Pokemon. So far, nothing. No Pokemon walking around the park, but at least he got some fresh area. As he was walking around with Pikachu on his shoulder, Pikachu jumped off his shoulder as he found a familiar trainer with some Pokemon. Red, while following Pikachu, found someone that was awfully familiar. It was Green, his rival from a long time ago. He hated him with his guts since he always lost to him during practice battles. What was he doing here? Was he looking for a battle or just looking for Pokemon as well? He still had grudges on him from the past, but, he remembered Green having a turnaround in the end and their rivalry ended. Pikachu found one of his Pokemon laying near him. Red then ran towards Green and had no idea what to say to him, since he did not expect him here. "Um, Green? Is that you?"

As he saw his Growlithe trying to have a conversation with Pikachu, he saw that Green did look different from his usual style. He can tell that he was more relaxed than from what happened when they first met. Red did remember that Green would win more battles but, at least Red did catch Mewtwo and got all eight gym badges. As he felt Green hugging Red, he thought that this was getting awkward. The first thing that came to mind was that Green was pretending to be nice, like he always was in the past. To be nice though, Red hugged back and pats bis head. "I'm just trying to collect more Pokemon. You?"

Green was right, Red had to get out of his comfort zone of just trying to win more battles and become stressed over finding some Pokemon. He did see Pikachu and Growlithe having some conversation and Pikachu did look pretty happy by chatting with the fire-dog. "Oh, so, I assume you got all eight badges and defeated the elite four?" He asks and sat down by him. He then showed him his Pokedex and showed him how many Pokemon he caught. "So, what areas have you been traveling too since we last met?" He asked and Pikachu decided to play tag with Growlithe. Red did giggle a little when he saw that Pikachu was just wanting to play. "Heh, looks like our Pokemon got excited to meet again." He commented as his Pikachu cried out some playful "Pikas".

As Red heard his story about the adventures that he encountered, he thought about how hard they both worked to accomplish to get where they are. "Oh, I actually beat the champion. The battle was going down to the wire, but, I did manage to win. I don't remember which Pokemon I used though." He said, and thought about that one battle of Mount Silver. He then heard Green talk about his travels, so, why not talk about his travels. "Well, I've been to Sinnoh as well as Johto. I also been to Hoenn, and I have to admit, it's really nice there with a lot of grass and flying types." He said and showed him the badges that he he won back in those areas. "I did catch some in those areas, but, not much either. I think Kanto has the best places to catch all types." He commented and thought about that first day he met his Charamander and Pikchu. He then heard the playful noises with their Pokemon as they were running around. "Of course! Let's release the rest of ours for a big family reunion!" He exclaimed and took out the rest of his Pokeballs. Out came his Charizard, Jolteon, Lapras, Rattata, Dodrio, and his Persian. "The rest are in Professor Oak's office." He said as the Pokemon cheered out with glee and started to play tag with one another. "Be careful Charizard!"

Red smiled as well as all the Pokemon were playing all together, well, his pokemon as he saw that Green decided not to release his to play. "Hey, I know your Blastoise is not going to hurt my Pokemon. I'm sure Pikachu won't mind him joining the group." He said, and Pikachu ran to one of the Pokeballs which had Blastoise. When Red heard his question about him meeting anyone, like a dating type, his eyes widened. He did not have the time for relationships as he was focusing on becoming the greatest Pokemon master. "Well, I had no companions with me, but, me and Pikachu made an awesome team." "Pika, Pika!" Pikachu cried out happily. "I bet you did find some fangirls on the way." He said, and nudged him playfully. He remembered that Green was the one to get girls and even some cheerleaders. Red, was obviously the boring and all he just cared about was his journeys and winning battles. He saw his blush and thought it was awkward. "Um, what is with that blush? Are you thinking about, cheerleaders?" He asked with a sly smirk. He did like to tease him a couple of times about girls coming onto him for fun while traveling.

As Red felt some negativity about his Blastoise coming out for the fun, he thought that the first thing that did come to mind was disobedience. He did remember that he had a hard time dealing with his Pikachu when he did get out of control when he was trying to get him into his Pokeball, which it did not want to do. He did remember his cousin, Ash saying that carrying Pikachu on the shoulders would give him a better experience to interact with it when walking around. "Oh, I see. I guess, you can let him out another day. I suggest that you can train him a little more on being nice to the other Pokemon, I mean, that is what I did with Charmander, before he became who he is right now." He commented and remembered it being a pain to train that little fire dragon. When he heard that he did hear that his Blastoise could be jealous when his Pokemon was around him, it was awkward to hear that. He never heard of a Pokemon having that behavior of jealousy, which was odd. "Really? That sounds weird." He said. Red then heard Green asking if he became lonely on his travels, and thought that was an awkward question. "Well, Pikachu and I always traveled side by side, so, I never felt lonely at all. It was just me and my Pokemon and I never really needed anyone to boss me around. I had to go up to some officers and ask for directions a couple of times, but, I didn't need anyone by my side." He did see that look on Green's face when he mentioned that he was lonely when traveling with him and his Pokemon and he did feel bad for him. "Hey, you could have asked me, and we could have gone together. I would not have minded at all." He did not mind traveling him, now that he did mention that he did get lonely. Red then saw that he was blushing when he did mention fangirls being over him and he it was pretty obvious that he was not into them, because of having the same dreams as Red had the same dream as well. He thought that it was weird that some girls like him as a friend and nothing more. Red would have felt the same way with a female companion or just someone asking him out, for a lunch date, which of course, never happened during his travels. He then saw his little blush and did chuckle a little when Green turned his face away when he teased him about cheerleaders again. "Well, I thought that was the first thing when coming to mind, cheerleaders, the girls who were cheering you on. I also remembered the cheer, that they said, over and over again. "Green, Green, he's our man, if he could do it, no one can."

He hoped that his suggestion was going to work on Blastoise. Having that one training process of tryiing to get that certain Pokemon to behave was going to work quickly. Red did listen that whenever that Pokemon was actually nice to him, he would get his training done, and did listen that he was using some attacks during battles, wich were pretty useful and he could imagine that using his canons on other trainers would not end pretty, and it could not have been the best training that he had ever done. Red could have ended the way if his Charmelon was not trained properly and he could not have ended well either and the friendship would have ended. Although he did see Green as a hard trainer and he did remember that he was having a hard time training his Blastoise and he can tell that it went from hard work to friendship. He did remember the only Pokemon that very possessive over Red was his Aipom, which, of course wanted his hat for attention until he caught it. He did hear Green's story between him and his Blastoise and thought it was sweet and thought that having a good relationship between the trainer and the Pokemon would make a good team, just like how Pikachu and him got close really quickly and he did chuckle when he did mention that his Blastioise was possessive, he just thought of Aipom acting that way. When Red was listening to Green's atonish of him not being lonely, he did nod his head. He, however felt bad for Green when he did mention that he was somewhat lonely on his own travels and did feel bad for him getting teased. "Oh, you were teased? That's awful." He said, and pats his back for comfort. Red, personally did never feel lonely while being on his travels, and now he thought that now, he would have been traveling with him since he could help anyone, especially if it was a rival in the beginning. He then saw Green looking surprised when Red offered to travel with him, he nodded. "Traveling with you could have been fun. We could have been, I don't know, battle and train together. It would make us a strong team."  He replied with a small grin and Pikachu nodded as if he agreed with him. Red did see the look on Green's face when he did tease him about the fangirls, and thought it was pretty funny to see his face full of embarrassment. "Hey, it's ok, Green. We all have those moments." He said, and yawned a little. "Hey, want to do a little battle? Just like old times?"
