Lonnie dropped her heavy grunge backpack loudly on the floor of her new apartment. Her heart twinged as she was suddenly filled with thoughts of Sam and the apartment they shared the year before. "Get yourself together, L. You came here to take your mind off of Sam..." She said to herself as she dropped heavily onto her new bed. She laid there for awhile, trying her hardest to relax her still tense muscles "Sam would want you to move on..." she said, still trying to convince herself of the fact.  |

Esmeralda prayed she had the right room as she knocked on the door she desperately hoped was Lonnie's, "Hello?"

Lonnie got up quickly from her spot on the large white couch in her living room and and opened the door. She was surprised to see the beautiful gypsy standing on the other side "Esmeralda! Hey! Please, come in" she said, gesturing her to come inside.

Esmeralda's entire demeanor brightened as soon as she saw Lonnie, "How have you been?" she asks as she walks in and looks around in wonder, "Nice place."

Lonnie smiled and put her hands in her pockets "Eh, it's nice." she replied "it's a little to rich for my blood though. I wish I had picked something smaller.." she trailed off

Lonnie laughed softly "I guess you get used to being along after awhile." she said, grinning "It's only when I hear the vigorous sex noises from across the hall that feel lonely" she laughed hard at her own joke and leaned up against a wall.

Esmeralda blushed, "I don't think we meant to make that much noise..." Esmeralda desperately wanted to tell Lonnie that she would drop both Loki and Anakin in a heartbeat if she could be with her, but she didn't want to scare Lonnie away. She looked down, "I'm sorry."

"Oh.... OH" Lonnie said, eyes widening "Oh uh.. no problem" she shifted on her hips and looked down at her feet "I didn't know that was you... sorry, I didn't mean to be a dick..." she bit her lip.

Esmeralda looked up and shook her head, "Oh no! you weren't being a dick... I just-" Esmeralda was slightly at a loss for what to say. "I just- I didn't mean for-" Esmeralda looked down at her feet awkwardly, this was the first time in a long time she'd actually been at a loss for words. Usually she could just shrug something like this off with a clever quip and a laugh, but around Lonnie she just... couldn't.

"It's cool" Lonnie said, standing up and laughing awkwardly "as long as I didn't offend you... I didn't want to make you feel bad, that's all" She gave a small smile.

Lonnie laughed and walked over to the couch, plopping down hard and kicking her feet up onto the cushion next to her so she could face Esmeralda "That's good to know" she grinned "I might have to hold you to that one day"
