Natalia made her way through the portal, expecting to end up back in her own world, but looked around her in confusion when she smelled the stale rusted air and heard the metallic clanging around her. She had no idea where she was, but it certainly wasn't New York. The faint scent of sickly sweet decay set her on edge and she intensely wished the portal worked more than once a day. She looked around, studying the hulking machinery and wondering what on earth she'd gotten herself into.

Ace frowned. He had fallen asleep and had woken up in this strange place. He frowned to himself. He slowly got to his feet.

Natalia gripped her gun when she saw a young man not far from her who looked like he'd just woken up. She had no clue who he was but he didn't seem familiar with their strange new surroundings either. She jerked as a rat the size of a grey hound ran past her, slightly mutated from obvious exposure to radiation. She glanced down the dilapidated and abandoned hallway they'd found themselves in, trying to get a gauge for where they could possibly be. The machine running what appeared to be a lift at the end of the hall was old and rusted through, and she wouldn't trust it to carry more than five pounds. "Are you familiar with Greenbriar?" she asked the man, thinking that if he was as new as she was, it would make sense.

"Uh yeah." Ace said. He regarded her carefully before he caught sight of the creature that had been run past them. He rubbed the back of his neck. It looked a bit unusual even for what he was used to seeing. "And let me guess you are too?"

Natalia nodded and quickly made her way down toward the opposite end of the hall where there was a door that looked like it had rusted shut, Natalia tried kicking it down, but it wouldn't budge, "Damn," she cursed quietly as she looked for another way out, "Seems the portal isn't as stable as I thought it was."

"Why don't you let me?" Ace offered. A ring of fire appeared around his hand. He could perhaps melt the door open if he got hot enough.

Natalia stepped back and nodded to Ace to proceed. She wasn't too surprised to note he had powers of some sort, after all, he was from Greenbriar.

Ace placed his hand on the door and melted his way through.

Natalia looked through the hole he had made and stared in shock. There was an intense fight between two groups of men, one led by a six foot tall monster of a woman, and the other by a battle hardened warrior. The people fighting were using shivs, garottes, and it looked like anything else they could pull from what remained of the rundown and dilapidated metal environment they lived in. Each had a pallor that made it quite apparent they hadn't seen the sun in months, if not years, and most bore scars. As the woman led her men to a brutal victory, by cruelly eliminating every single last one of the men who had dared to challenge her, one of her men caught sight of the two new intruders.

Ace smirked. He stepped out in front of Natalia just in case it was dangerous. He looked at her in concern. "So... Think they're friendly?" He asked.

Natalia raised an amused brow at him thinking she would need his protection, but shook her head, "I doubt it," she murmured as the white haired woman turned and saw them.
Ursula's eyes widened slightly in surprise as she took in their strange clothing and rather healthy appearance. In Perdition, the inmate's fond nickname for the hell hole they'd been sent to, the most elaborate clothing you'd find came in dull shades of grey, black, and brown, which may or may not have been the original colors, but no one was really sure. She warily gripped the heavy metal staff she'd used to crush many a inmate's skull with and held up her hand, indicating her men should stand back, "Which territory do you belong to?" she asked, her voice full of an in-born authority that would have made royals in any court sit up and pay attention.

Ace raised a brow. But he smiled at the other woman never the less. "I come from the Grand Line. More specifically the East Blue." He said politely. "Though I'm not to sure about my lady friend here."

Ursula glared at Ace, "I don't give a flying fuck about your history, boy. I asked what territory you're from, not for your goddamn homeland," she warned.
Natalia stepped protectively in front of Ace, "I'm terribly sorry, ma'am, but we're not familiar with the territories here. This is our first day here."
Ursula looked them over doubtfully, "New fish, huh?... and so polite," she sneered, "But if you're new, where the hell did you get those clothes from?"

"Our homelands?" Ace offered with a kind smile. He didn't know what to make of this.

Ursula turned her impatient gaze back to Ace, "Your galaxy, planet, country, or whatever the hell your damned Line is. Now, if you two are unaffiliated, that makes this slightly different. I lost a few good men in that last skirmish, so tell me, how experienced are you in killing?"
