Kenshin looked over to see Reika and his eyes widened seeing an image of Tomoe being the same way. In complete and utter rage he roared running right towards the assassin. Using the back of his sword where it had sharp edges he sliced the head of the man off. Blood sprayed onto his clothes and looked at the others with cold murderous eyes.

All assasins were dead. There was no one left. Reika was lying on the ground, trying to stop bleeding from her stomach. She coughed, and curled in pain.

Kenshin ran to her and picked her up gently. "Hold on. I lost someone I cared for here once and I won't let it happen again." He ripped his shirt and pushed it down to stop her bleeding.

Reika coughed, and held the cloth on her stomach. ,,It's alright. The wound isn't major..." she said, and coughed.

Kenshin shook his head as he put a finger on her lips. "Don't talk." He took her back to the village for medical help.

Reika sighed, and let Kenshin led him to the village. ,,I;m glad, that I could of help you Kenshin. I hope, that you're not mad at me, because of keeping the picture of your lover. "She said.

Kenshin looked up and crossed his arms recalling events like yesterday. "I left my master against his wishes to fight in the war. I became a legend quickly being called Battōsai or man slayer. I met Tomoe at a tea shop after a mission. She had a look of neutral hatred at what I wasn't sure." He tap his head trying to think of what happened next.

Kenshin nods as he takes her to a hospital and let the doctors take her for the moment. He waited patiently outside so he could continue with her later.

Doctor walked to Kenshin. ,,Your friend will have to stay for a night, but there is nothing to be afraid of." He said and walked away.

Kenshin nods with a smile as he walked towards her room. He opened the door and smiled at her and walked to the bed and sat next to her. "So how do you feel?" He smiled as he looked at her.

Reika was sitting on bed. She smiled back at Kenshin. ,,I feel fine, thank you. "She said, and grew worried. ,,However...I still feel bad about your wife."
