Carol looked away with small sad look on her face. "Well it's a little hard to describe I was only a child at the time but I can tell you some things." She adjusted her glasses and looked at Reika with a small frown. "It was on the night of a full moon and I was six years old. I thought monsters hid under my bed so I looked out the window. I saw Tomoe walking into the forest she looked like she had a lot on her head. A little later I saw mister Himura running into the woods with a worried look. I heard screams and fighting so I hid under my bed. In the morning I never saw Tomoe again and Mister Himura left with an extra scar over his other one making it look like an x. I never saw him again."

Reika's eyes went wide, when she heard Carol talking about the story and his scar. ,,I...didn't know..." she murmured. ,,Carol, tell me, where is those woods. Maybe I can find out, who did that and why." she said.

Carol points out of a window to the forest a few miles away. "It's there. But it's long since been deserted since that night so don't expect to find much."

Reika nodded, and got up. ,,You helped me a lot. Thank you very much" she bowed gently, and smiled at her. ,,I'll be going now. "she said, and left library.

Kenshin looked around for the picture and sighed knowing only one other place he could find it. But he didn't think he go back to that place soon. He sighed as he headed for the forest his nightmares take him.

Reika walked with the picture in her pocket, until she reached the forest. It was quite a gloomy one. She felt...unpleased, and not welcomed.

Kenshin walked through the forest his eyes had a glazed look as bad memories filled his mind. He soon found an area that was scarred by battle. Branches and roots were cut and dried blood even by 10 years was on the ground. Kenshin walked to a single grave and knelt in front of it putting a rose on the grave. "Hello Tomoe."

Reika looked around at the trees. She felt bad at that place, but she had to find out, what exactly happened to Tomoe. She sighed, and looked at the picture again.

Kenshin heard a twig snap and his eyes changed to amber immediately. He stood up and pulled out his sword. He jumped to the movement and tackled it. He put his sword at Reika's throat with a look of blinding rage.

Reika hopped shocked. ,,Kenshin, it;s me, Reika!" she pulled back. ,,It's alright, Kenshin... "she raised her arms.

Kenshin pants as he looked in her eyes before his own changed back to violent. He looked surprised to see Reika and got off her looking at his sword. "I'm glad this wasn't my old sword or else I would have killed you."

Kenshin walked over to the grave again and knelt in front of it looking at it sadly. "I lost the picture I had of Tomoe so I came here to pay my respects to her again. I burried her in the same spot she died in my arms." A tear ran down his scared cheek.

Kenshin looked shocked to see the picture and took it slowly. "I guess I'm not supposed to be shocked that you had it. But why are you here?" He looked at her with a confused look.
