Esmeralda looked up and blushed a bit in embarrassment at forgetting to introduce him, "Sorry, Squall's a friend of mine, perhaps you can meet up with him sometime," she suggested with a smile as she led him inside. "You can come up and take a look at our apartment and see if you like the basic layout, Squall's at work right now, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind."

Ayato nodded softly as he went inside the apartment and he decided to have a look around. "Hm, I see what you mean by being basic. I guess simple style would be fine for me." He commented as he thought the basic style would be good before upgrading it.

Ayato smiled as he looked at Esmerelda understanding why Squall would have a simple place to be at. He was thinking that a simple, small space would be good for his painting equipment. "Hm...I could use a painting space..."

He blushed a little when she gave him a gleaming and exciting smile. "Well, I do like to paint. My only thing I painted that's completed is a girl standing on a cliff. I do plan on painting more in the future." He replied.

Esmeralda nodded, "Thanks," she said quietly before closing the bedroom door softly, while she didn't mind showing Ayato the apartment, the bedroom still felt too personal to let him inside of it for long. She felt like she might be invading Squall's space by allowing it at all.

Ayato, noticing her feeling tense about letting others seeing Squall's space, felt worried about him showing up right now. "Hey, so you let anyone be in here before or am I your first guest to have a look around here?" He asked with a little curious look on his face.

Esmeralda smiled at him, "You're the second guest I've brought here. I don't typically do this, since I am merely a guest in his house, it feels a bit off to me. You're the only guest I showed the bedroom to however, which is why I got a bit antsy. So long as we stay in the living area I think we'll be fine, I just wanted you to be able to see what you were getting into."
