Esmeralda grins, "Lead the way." One of the largest obstacles she'd encountered was not being able to read, and now she would have access to knowledge she'd never dreamed of. Just the idea of a library in and of itself was an amazing concept to her. Books and education had been solely for the rich and privileged of her world, and she couldn't help but feel really happy that she was finally getting a chance to learn.

Squall led her to the library. He guessed, based off her reaction, she would probably take advantage of the system and use it the way it was supposed to be used. He had a feeling she would put a lot of effort into learning what she needed to.

She nodded and didn't care if people would think her strange for reading children's books. She would do anything it took, "Alright then. We'll start with those." She walked over to what she assumed to be the picture books, but were actually comics, "Any particular one?"

Squall looked at her. "Let's start a little simpler." he said. He picked up a small book that actually had the letters in it and a pictuer of what started with that letter.

She gave him a wry smile, "Thanks, you're a real sweetheart," she says as she opens the book and stares at the images before her, not really comprehending anything, and feeling slightly dumb.
