Esmeralda paced the floor waiting for her friends and her... date to show up. She was so excited and so nervous. It was the first time she'd been on a date like this with Lonnie and she was so scared she'd mess it up. She was glad Jack and Ariel would be there too. Maybe she could pick up some cues from them... She shook her head and tried to calm herself down by breathing deeply. She didn't usually show up early to things, in fact, usually it was a miracle if she got there on time, but with Lonnie... Esmeralda blushed and ducked her head. She shook herself again for being so silly and looked around to see if any of her friends had showed up yet.

Ariel left her apartment. Esmeralda had informed her that she was going on a double date with her and Lonnie, since Ariel was still pretty new and only had a few friends. She asked her recent friend Jack if he wanted to come. Ariel had walked fast towards the theater not wanting to be late, when she saw Esmeralda she decide to sneak up on her. "BOO!" She screamed

Esmeralda jumped, "Holy shit!!" she yelled out in surprise. She'd been so deep in her thoughts Ariel's scream had terrified her. When she saw it was Ariel who had sneaked up on her and she couldn't tell whether she was angry or amused... maybe both. "Good lord, Ariel, you scared me!"

Ariel giggled "I got ya!" Ariel smiled "Anyone besides us here yet?" She asked curiously.

Esmeralda shook her head, "Not yet, so far it's just us." She looked around trying to see if she could catch a glimpse of Lonnie's bright red hair, "Jack and Lonnie haven't come yet."

Esmeralda smiled, "Oh, you'll love Lonnie. She's so cute and funny and smart and... and I'm babbling aren't I?" Esmeralda blushes with a self-effacing grin, "Sorry, I just... she's just... I have it bad, don't I?"
