Loki shrugs "Oh I bet I know. Midgard is the center of the 'World Tree' or as you call it the Universe. We see everything that happens, but Odin sees no point in gods getting mixed up with mortals so doesn't help" he explains. He smiles "But only for certain people will I allow them to use my power, but to an extent" he says.

Loki nods "And now you know why I try to kill my stepbrother Thor, why I try to overthrow Odin himself and yes he does. But Thor, he mingles amongst mortals, helps them when he can. He is but one person and with a word Odin could strip him of all power" he says. He looks at Esmerelda "Yet I will say why don't we help one another?" he asks.

Loki smiles "You help me dispose of my brother AND take the throne and I will allow you to ask for three things" he says. He smiles "Think about it, just about anything at your call" he whispers as he shows images of her people suddenly eating a feast for five kingdoms and them being treated as equals instead of trash and being famous gypsy group that everyone loved to me.

The visions he showed her made her heart ache for them to be true, she wanted this so much for her people. To finally be freed from the awful oppression they faced, to not have to beg for scraps of food like dogs on the street, to finally have the power to make a difference. "What will this cost me? Surely getting rid of a god of thunder and his all powerful father cannot be so simple. And how do I know you will keep your word?" She wanted what he offered so badly, but she knew something so beautiful could never come to her so easily.

Loki smiles "You don't. As for getting rid of them, we just have to separate the god from his power Mjolnir and have him be captured by the Enchantress, a Asgardian sorceress who wants Thor. As for Odin, all we need to do is wait for the Odin sleep where he recharges, lock him in and just usurp the throne" he says.

She glared at him, "Do not take me for a fool. If it is so simple, why haven't you, with all your power taken the throne? And for that matter, if you truly are a god, as you claim, and you cannot accomplish this on your own, how do you expect a mere mortal such as myself to help you? I have no superpowers, nor do I possess anything I could use to fight a god."

Loki sighs "Because together Thor and Odin cannot be stopped. They are an obstacle that a god cannot accomplish on his own mortal" he says glaring back. He sighs and calms down "I have a way to end this, but I need a mortals help. You see Thor knows nothing or mortals, he is unsure of who to trust and not trust so it will be simple to get his get him to trust you. Besides, Thor would never harm a woman or strike down a mortal since in turn think of it this way. You will be doing great thing for your people" he says with a smile.

"What's in it for you?" She asked, still wary, "I find it hard to believe you want their power solely to become a benefactor for all people."
If anyone had told Esmeralda she would be arguing stark naked, in a bathroom made of gold, with a god she'd just had amazing sex with, about taking out two other gods in return for wealth and power for her people; she would have laughed in their face and called them crazy.

Loki shrugs "Well for me I get revenge on a couple of fools who stole me from my real family who is still alive" he says as his eyes momentarily turned red like a Frost Giant. He sighs and breathes "Sorry I tend to.... lose my control when the past comes up" he says with a smile.

Her eyes widen slightly at seeing his red eyes, but she waves away his apology and shrugs, "Revenge is understandable, there are a few men I would gut and quarter without a second thought if I had the chance, but is that all you're after? Having that much power would twist and tempt anybody, how do I know you won't misuse it and end up causing even more grief."

She looks away from him and shakes her head, "I don't know, I don't know either of you well enough to make a sound judgment either way. Thor seems to be a naive fool, but he does at least seem to want to do good. You, on the other hand, appear to be much more intelligent, yet your motives are still unclear to me and I don't know that I'd ever trust you with that much power."
