Vaan' is walking down one of the pathways in the park, scouting out the place, finding hiding spots and escape routes. It's more out of habit than choice, growing up on the street leave imprints. He's too busy looking watching the scenery to notice anything else, or anyone.

Elsa walked around, admiring the beautiful lilies that were planted in the park along the sidewalk. They were one of many types of flowers that grew there but these were by far her favorite. Before long she heard footsteps coming up beside her. It was a boy... how rare, she thought. She had only seen one other boy in this land so far so she was intrigued by this young, blonde male "H-hello?" she said to the boy, obviously oblivious to her.

Vaan almost violently snaps back to reality and there before him is a girl, no more woman, greeting him looking well royal. "Hey" He replied and looks around anxiously. "It's not your park or anything right?" He gestures to her dress.

"Oh!" she said and looked down at her queen attire, she had only brought a few outfits here and they were all far to formal for this world "oh no this isn't my park, this is everyone's park, I think" she said blushing slightly, feeling WAY over dressed "I am sorry, was I in your way?" she asked sincerely

"That's a shame." He said, smiling brightly. "I haven't broken into a royal park, yet." He walks by Elsa, hunches down by some of the lilies, brushing some red ones with his hand. "Of course not, I was done any way."

Elsa laughed slightly "Trust me, royal parks aren't all that great." she smiled at the lilies "I prefer this one to any of the ones back home"

"So you are royal!" He grins, just his luck to run in to royals when he's on an adventure. He looks at her over his shoulder and says: "I'm Vaan by the way. And you?"

Vaan picks some lilies and gets up, brushing imaginary dirt from his knees. "Never heard of it, but nice to meet'cha". He said and gave a light bow, realising how he must look. "Ah, the flowers aren't for you. They're for my brother."

"The pleasure is mine" she smiled. Laughing she said "I assumed that they were not for me, I am not anyone special when we are hear after all, just a random stranger staring at flowers like an oddball. However, you really should be nicer to the flowers, they die so easily, you know?" she gave a small smile and said "So.. you have a brother?"

"Sorry... I didn't mean that." Vaan said, smiling a bit and feels sadly nostalgic. "No one is un-special. and I know how to tend flowers. Rabanstre is in the middle of a desert." He looks at the lilies in his hands, they're not quite the same but they will do. "Had. He died but I still bring him flowers when I find any".

"Yeah, well. People die in wars so..." Vaan says, shrugs and look up at Elsa. "Is that why you're here?" Vaan asks without thinking.

"maybe..." She said softly "I guess I just needed to get away from my world, you know? To be alone in a kingdom full of subjects is much worse than being with a handful of people that don't even know who you really are..." she paused before asking "Is that... is that why you are here?"

"I never saw it like that..." Vaan said, taking in Elsa's words. "No, there's nothing like that right now. It was boring so I left, you know, adventuring." He smiles at Elsa, raising his hands above his head. "I have an own airship back in Rabanstre, there's nothing better than flying."
