When Foxy heard that the person that knew about the "One Piece" was dead, he did feel sorry for him. He was not sure if it could have been a relative that he was close with in the past before he died of something. At the same time, he did feel a little frustrated that now, he was never going to know about the "One Piece" anytime soon. He also thought that he was going to be too rude for him to ask, so, the pirate fox decided to keep his mouth shut. He can tell from that tone of voice that he did have a bad past, and that was why he came to Greenbrier in the first place. "Oh, me sorry to ear' hat', mate." Foxy replied and pats his back, with some sort of comfort. "Ell' do ye remember what he said, about he "one piece"? If not, me understand, mate. We can look for new treasure together. if ye want to." He thought that was not going to get anywhere at all. So, he just waited for the other guy to respond and talk.

Ace frowned. He glared at the Fox Pirate. Ace almost died to get to the One Piece. He didn't want anything to do with the treasure because the man he had been trying to make the Pirate King was dead too. "I don't want to talk about the One Piece." he snapped.

As Foxy saw the glare coming from the guy's face, he started to frown as well. He can tell by the look on his face that he had some sort of tragic past when trying to get the "one piece" at the time before coming to Greenbrier. He did hear that he did not want to talk about it, and he nodded as though he understood. "Hey, me sorry, mate." Foxy said and looked down, as though he said something wrong. "Me won't talk about it again." He said, as he crossed his heart, and made a promise to himself on not to hurt Ace or mentioning anything about his past.

Ace sighed. "Yeah, okay." he muttered. He looked out of the gazebo. It was still raining pretty hard. They wouldn't be able to leave until it stopped raining.

As Foxy saw that he was sighing over the fact that he made a "silent promise" to himself when he was going to not mention the "one piece" again, he was not sure if Ace was skeptical. "Mate, it's rainin. Want to go inside?" He asked and he saw that it was raining, hard. It was that hard and was not sure if it was too late to run and find a place stay. It was still raining pretty hard right now and Foxy was not sure if the place that they are to find around the area was going to be full of shelter or someplace where water can go into the roof.

"This place is dry," Ace replied. "But you can go if you want." Didn't bother him anyway if Foxy was there or not. Besides, it was just a bit of rain. Things would be much different if the ocean came up and there was flooding. Ace would be in a much worse position.

Once he saw that the place was starting to feel a little bit try due to the humidity, he felt like he needed to go inside right now. "It feels dry to ye, mate? Me thinks tis' safe to go inside.." He comments, with a bit of a shrug and goes inside the building. He does still see Ace out there by still sitting there. "Come out if you don't ant' to." He calls out, and sits in the nearest chair and starts to read a book about, pirates.
