Lightning swore under her breath. Whatever this creature was, all she was able to do was prolong it's attacks. The civilians had luckily fled for it and she had injured the creature but she had never seen anything it's like. She dove for the ground and rolled out of the way as a tail lashed over her head. She fired off another round of shots at the beast. "This is going to sting," she told the beast.

From up top a man watches as he sees the beast attacking as he chuckles. This monster was part of a job he had to do, but seeing this woman stand her ground against it was quite interesting to say the least. He steps back before her hops off the building and starts to fall to the beast as he lands on it's back and pulls out two pistols. He smirks "Late for the party?" he asks as he unloads into the creature before dodging it's tail. He lands next to Lightning as he stands up and smirks "Persistent monster aren't ya?" he asks. He holsters his pistols and pulls out his sword as he claps and taunts for it to come at him.

"What are you doing? Get out of here! I've got this!" Lightning snapped at Dante. She got back to her feet and fired a few more rounds from her gunblade.

He chuckles "I've handled them before" he says. He looks at the creature as he charges and jumps. It swipes at him as he dodges and digs his blade into it's hand as he looks over "Bullets just piss it off!" he calls out as he runs up the monster. It aims it's head as it starts to glow bright and hot with flames as a attack. Dante simply jumps off causing it to torch it's own arm as he chuckles at it.

Lightning rolled her eyes. She wasn't aiming for the monster. Finally her bullets cut through the chain holding up a large shipping container and it dropped into the beast's back.

Dante hopped off as he lands. He claps his hands as he looks at it "Well... it's going to get more pissed" he says. A loud roar is heard followed by more roars as he swings his sword "I better be getting a raised for this" he says.

Lightning grimaced. She thought that it would have at least have hurt the creature. The shipping crate had been weighed down with thousands of pounds of glass dishes, which were now shattering around them.

Dante smiles "Name's Dante" he says. He might as well get intros out of the way since this was going to be a long night.

"Like I care," Lightning retorted, not giving her own name. She took a running start up the side of an overturned bus and shifted her sword into its blade form. She stabbed the demon in the eye before pushing back and landing neatly.

It roars out as Dante smirks "Fiesty" he says. He looks around as he says "Go for the underside. They got a pulsating energy sac that is like a large heart" he says as he runs under the creature as his sword vanishes. He knocks it high into the air with some metal gauntlet as it shifts into a single arm gauntlet as he pierces the glowing, giant object under the creature as they all burst and it falls dead. Four more appear as his gauntlet turns into a sword as he smiles "Well then... let's dance!" he says as he charges one of them.

Lightning stiffened when four new creatures appeared. The grip on her sword had turned her knuckles white from her sheer frustration. "You've got to be kidding me," she muttered before she ran at them again. She wasn't giving up on the fight. Too many civilians lived in that area. They needed the monsters gone.

Before she knew it a guitar rift was going on as lightning came down striking the beasts as Dante chuckles "I'll distract and you slice?" he asks as he charges with her. He hops to dodge a tail as he gets real close, pulling out his Coyote gun and shooting it dead in the eye making it roar in pain and exposing it's weakpoint.

"I don't need your help! I've been taking care of these monsters all day!" Lightning snapped but she took advantage of the creature's weak spot and she thrust her blade up, cutting through the skin and killing the beast.

Dante smiles "Well I am here to help anyhow" he says. He knocks a monster up and unloads into it's weakspot. The last one charges at Lightning as he comes down, running his blade through it's tail to keep it in place.

Lightning turned to see the beast's claws swing in her direction. A shield formed in front of her but she was still knocked back by the blow.
