In the Woodlands, life has been busy for one sheriff. Seems someone's betting getting trophies of killing fables and humans in Fabletown as he got a message from the man in charge of the fabletown, Ichabod to 'get this under control'. So far things have been clean with no prints, clues, or anything besides a body and ID of the victim. Only one person would know who did this and in order to do so, he would need to head to the 13th floor for dark magic assistance. In one of the rooms, some of the witches were making more glamour to sell, not knowing of who would arrive.

Bigby headed to the 13th floor. He smiled when he saw Frau Totenkinder. The old woman was knitting carefully. He knelt down at her side since she was in a wheelchair. "Hello, Frau. Is the spell ready?" he asked. He placed a hand on his pocket. He had the money to pay for it.

She smirks "It is, but I doubt it will do you much good" she says. She opens her hand for the payment as she seemed to speak true, but it would be worth it.

"I have to try something Frau." Bigby said. "And thank you for your hard work." He handed her the bag of coins that he was paying her with.

She opens the door to show the white circle with markings "Be wary Sheriff, this creature is not some simple fable" she says. She wheels over and picks up the piece of paper with the chant on it for him to speak and bind the creature to him so it will not kill them and not try to escape.

Bigby folded his arms over his chest to wait for her to complete the spell. He knew this wasn't a fable. He just needed to talk to them.

The witch chants and casts the spell as the place starts to shake and rattle. When it was over, in the circle was a pale man in a black suit as he looks at his hand to see a white chain on it as he looks up "First it was a bratty child, then two annoying insects and now a old hag and a mutt. Such worthless insects playing with powers" he says. Frau looks over "Sheriff, meet Death" she says.

"Nice to meet you," Bigby said. "We'll let you go as soon as you answer a few questions for us. And if we can, we'll do what we can to help you with something."
He just wanted someone to be honest with him and he was far too tired to try the 'Big Bad Wolf' routine. He doubted it would have gone far on Death.

Death looks at him "Why would I want help from simple fairytales? Also what makes you think I will answer your questions?" he asks. Frau shows the link her and Death share "Because you are under my control and must answer" she says. He looks at her "I temporarily do answer, but only to you insect." he says.

"Well, what we're asking about falls under your jurisdiction." Bigby said. "Fables and humans are being murdered. And well before they're supposed to be reaped or at least I'd like to think so. I just need to know who the murderer is."

Death looks at him "Death is what is killing them mutt" he says. Frau looks "He means who is killing them" she says. Death looks at them both "And I told you who is killing them. It's like talking to children" he says.

"And I say once more Death. You think a mutt would learn how to listen" he says. Frau growls "Listen! If you don't start making sense I'll" she is cut off "You'll what? Release me? I could easily turn the world to eternal night if I wished it amoeba" he says.

Death looks at him "Your asking the right question... but to the wrong being" he says. Soon Frau starts to choke as a woman in a black suit has her hand out choking Frau "I wouldn't recommend touching the woman Bigby, unless you want to leave this town sheriff-less" he says.
