Esmeralda finished applying her make up and glanced at herself in the mirror. The red dress she'd worn to Festival that started everything hugged her curves and she loved the way the dress moved with her as she walked. She patiently waited for Jack to show up, sitting on the couch and practicing reading while she waited.

Jack thought it was too late; he did not sleep 'cause the big appointment he have with a beautiful woman, and when he thought he never will sleep, he did. Making him wake up late, he quickly ran to take a shower and dress, yeah, he can not go out naked. He quickly grabbed his staff and made his way to Esmerada's apartment.
With the cool wind and with his hair still dripping, his hair started to freeze but finally, he saw the apartment and he stood in the window, knock it twice. "Esmeralda?" Jack asked, actually he had never use a door, well, when he got choice he chose the window. "Esme? Are you there?" He asked with his fast breathing almost hard to understand but he try to calm dowm and breath.

Esmeralda looked up, slightly surprised someone was knocking on her window, but smiled when she saw Jack and quickly made her way over to him. She opened the window with a wide grin, "There you are, I was almost getting worried," she teased, while motioning for him to come inside.

Jack chuckled nervously. "Yeah, but I'm already here." Jack say as he flew in. "But I could not leave a beautiful woman dressed and not go out anywhere." Jack say, when he was on the way, he made a bow tie, of ice of course, he looked weird but he leave it anyway.
Jack looked at Esmeralda from head to toe, she looked amazing with that red dress that make her body look really attractive, Jack hardly thought in words to compare her but it seemed no one could. "You look... wow." Jack say as his cheeks started to be like her dress; red. "You look really beautiful Esme."

Esmeralda smiled warmly, her cheeks flushing slightly, "Thank you, Jack. You look very handsome tonight as well," she told him sincerely as she took in his appearance. His flushed face made him seem much more... human, and his hair, glittering slightly from the light refracting off of the ice within it, gave him an almost ethereal appearance. She grinned as she gently fingered his bow tie, "Wow, it's really made of ice," she commented, genuinely impressed.

Jack looked his hair and realised that it have pieces of ice on it, thanks to the shower he took minutes before. Jack shake his hair to make the ice fall from his hair. "Yeah, it is." Jack say still blushed and even more when Esmeralda touched his bow tie admiring the way he did it. "But I guess it's too much." Jack say as he touched it too and making snowflake to desapear it. "So... are you ready?" Jack asked, she looked amazing but he ask 'cause he have heard stories about woman and the hours they took to be ready. But Esmeralda seem ready but more than that, she looked beautiful.

Esmeralda smiled and nodded, "I'm ready... Do you want to leave by way of the door or the window?" she asked with a teasing grin. She was honestly fine with either though. She was just amused that they had the choice.

Jack grab Esmeraldas waist and pressed her close to him. "I preffer the window." He say chuckling, maybe Esmeralda was not dressed to go out from her window but he really hates the doors, never liked used one. Jack chuckled as both of them flew away, not mistreating the clothes and her hair. Jack looked at Esmeralda. "Are you scared?" Jack asked, it wasn't their first time flying together but Jack have never asked that, so he felt curious.

Esmeralda gasped in slight surprise as he grabbed her waist and held onto him as they started flying. She smiled and shook her head at his question, "No," she answered honestly, heights had never scared her, though hanging off the edge of a roof did, but then again Quasimodo couldn't fly. She actually loved being able to look down and see the spread of the city beneath her, "It's so beautiful from up here," she told him.

"Great." Jack say smiling at her answer, 'cause it was probably that every time they met, he will carry her. "I know right?" Jack say agreeing her comment. "It's something that you can not see all the days." Jack add before leaning on the snow, Jack have made a snow day only in this part of the city. Jack placed his hands on her esmeralds eyes, not allowing her to see. "You gotta trust in me." Jack whispered kindly.

Esmeralda smiled and nodded, "Alright," she agreed, "I trust you," she responded simply and honestly. Having her sight kept from her while she was high up was both slightly nerve-wracking and thrilling, but she trusted Jack not to let her fall... too far.

Jack smiled and later he stoped flying and both touched the ground cover with snow, thing that Jack doesn't bother. "Walk and I lead you." Jack say, they were already on the restaurant door.

Esmeralda was surprised that the ground was so cold beneath her, but nodded her agreement and let Jack lead her. "Where are we going?" she asked with a smile, wondering when he'd let her see again. She tried listening to the sounds around her to figure out where they were, but she couldn't decipher much.

"Sorry If the ground it's cold." Jack add chuckling, it wasn't his intention that the ground was like that, but that is something that came too about making snowdays. Jack lead the way until he stop and took away his hands from esmeraldas eyes. "Here we are." Jack say happy to Esmeralda, showing the place where they are gonna have their dinner. "What do you think?" Esmeralda gasped aloud at the breathtaking beauty before her, "Oh Jack..." she breathed quietly, "It's gorgeous," she murmured in awe while taking in the sight of the lights reflecting off of the frozen lake. She suddenly felt slightly self-conscious, wondering if she'd dressed alright. She quickly glanced down at her dress before looking around to see if she could gauge what was considered appropriate here.
