Esmeralda woke up slowly the next morning, surprised to look around and find she wasn't at Squall's apartment. It took her a minute to get reoriented and realize she was at Nagisa's instead.

Nagisa woke up and remembered that Esmerelda was staying at her apartment for an art lesson. She shook her gently like and whispered, "Want to have breakfast first or start right away?"

Esmeralda looked up at her through half-lidded eyes, "Breakfast?" she mumbled blearily.

Nagisa heard her murmur "breakfast" & she nodded her head by her request. "Of course miss Esme. What would you like?" She asked as she got her apron on.

Esmeralda sat up slowly and stretched, "Mmm, bacon and eggs sound really good."

Nagisa smiled and got her things ready to cook. "Well miss Esme, how would you like your eggs? Sunny side up or scrambled?" She asked giving her a cute smile.

Esmeralda grinned, "Scrambled sounds wonderful," she said before yawning.

Nagisa nodded her head and heard what she wanted. "Ok, scrambled eggs and bacon are coming right up." She said as she started to get all the ingredients out for Esme's breakfast. She cracked four eggs and took out two pieces of bacon since she wanted try some bacon herself. After cooking the eggs & bacon for at least five minutes, she sets the table with some green herbal tea she packed from Japan. "This tea is a great morning drink!" She said as she got the plates filled up with food and poured the tea in two teacups.

Esmeralda sat up and moaned softly as the smell of good food permeated the house, slowly stretching and making her way to the kitchen.

When Nagisa was finished setting up the table, she heard footsteps of someone lingering for food this morning. She smiled as she took her seat and waited for Esmerelda to sit down so they could start eating together.

Esmeralda grinned when she walked into the room and saw the food on the table, "Wow, this looks amazing," she complimented as she sat down across from Nagisa.

Nagisa smiled when she saw her beaming face of excitement. She felt happy that she got to cook for her first female friend who was although older than her, she got someone to "test taste" her food .

Esmeralda took a bite and hummed happily, "You're a wonderful cook," she told Nagisa honestly as she started to dig in.

When she heard that Esme liked her food, she smiled and started to eat her food with her across the table. She never had anyone admire her food and gave her a compliment like that. "Wow, I'm happy you like the food miss Esme!" She said with a big smile.

Esmeralda grinned and took a drink, "I love it," she responded honestly, though she wasn't sure how good of a judge she made.
