Bigby turned in the evidence to the lock up. The medallion, the ax and the cloak were being checked

Isabela sighed and sunk down to the floor, losing her strength as her anger turned to regret. She shook her head to clear it and instead decided to focus on reading up about the fables. She wouldn't be much use to Bigby if she she remained ignorant for much longer.

In the course of the night, Bigby had hunted down and caught both the man with the medallion - Portgas D. Ace - he claimed and Woody - the Woodsman. He had them in two different holding cells and he was waiting to interrogate them. But first he had to wait on his results from Boy Blue and Flycatcher about the room.

Isabela had finished the entire book, and sighed as she leaned her head back and sleep refused to come to her.

Bigby pinched the bridge of his nose. Reports had just gotten back, there had been a loss of 5 and 3/8 pints of blood. The average female body held 9. Whoever was in Faith's room was dead for a fact. What made matters worse was that there was a body now. Both the body and the head were brought to the witching well for Bigby to examine.

Isabela couldn't help the feeling of foreboding that came over as dawn approached. She swore once more, though half-heartedly as she tried to convince herself that Faith would be fine... She shook her head wearily blinking back tears for the first time in years.

Bigby hadn't slept that night. He had stopped at a coffee shop and grabbed two coffees - one for him, one for Isabela. He knocked outside her door.

Isabela had stayed awake all night as well, but jumped slightly in surprise when she heard the knock at her door. She made her way to it cautiously, taking one of her daggers, before relaxing as she saw it was Bigby, "How did it go?" she asked quietly.

"Caught our two suspects." Bigby said, not mentioning the lab report. He offered her a coffee. "You look like you need this as much as I do."

Isabela nodded, "Thanks," she said as she took a sip from the coffee, grimacing at the bitter taste, but feeling better afterwards, "Have you questioned them yet?"

"Thought you'd want to be there." Bigby said. "And... We've found the body."

Isabela looked up at him, hope and despair warring within her, "How bad is it?"

"It was dumped in the river. Toad Junior found her when he and his dad went for their nightly swim." Bigby said.

Isabela shuddered, "Poor kid..." she murmured quietly, grateful the open door hid the hole she'd made in the wall earlier that night. "Be honest with me Bigby... she's not likely to make it is she?" she asked quietly.

"Well, there was a lot of blood lost." Bigby said. "Someone could have died in that room. Might not be Faith though. We're still running DNA." He motioned for her to follow him. "We shouldn't keep Woody and Portgas waiting."
