Buffy nodded, "I know..." she didn't want to do this, but it was the only way she could be sure he'd keep his word, "... If you drink from me and prove you can control yourself, by pulling away before you've taken too much, then I'll let you go."

Buffy nodded, gripping her stake tighter, she didn't trust him, but she wouldn't fight him unless he betrayed her, "Alright then," she agreed.

Buffy watched him coolly, though feeling a small thrill at his words. It had been a long time since her last night with Spike, so she easily blamed her reaction to Marshall on her body's weakness.
