Irene nodded swiftly, "Very well then, I can lend you the charts you'll need to get to my buyer."

Irene quickly finished her meal and looked up at him, "If you betray me, there will be nowhere you can hide or run," she said casually as she paid her bill.

Irene eyed him warily and shrugged, most men underestimated her at first. They quickly learned their mistake soon enough. He would too. "I'll see you tomorrow at dawn."

She nodded and walked out, making her way back to her apartment and putting the finishing touches on her paintings. She's worked long and hard on these and her move was risky, but she had a feeling it'd pay off well.

Irene noted his habit with wry disapproval. If he was going to be unreliable, she'd never enter into a partnership with him. She made her way to him as some men gripped the crate and prepared to load it onto his ship, "I hope you'll still be able to sail?" she asked in reference to his drink.

She cast him a doubtful glance before handing him the charts he'd need to find her supplier up north, "My boss will meet you and pay you for your services. If you get the paintings to him in three days' time, you'll be paid well."
