Buffy staked another vampire through the heart and swore as she barely dodged another before shoving her wooden stake deep into its chest. Three more came at her as she backed up to give herself some space to breathe, collecting herself before diving into the fray once more.

From the shadows a man walks out as he sees a woman fighting off weird creatures. He opens a small journal as he smiles and looks over at her. He simply smirks and watches "Time to see.... her fear" he says.

Buffy quickly staked the first vamp through the chest, causing it to turn to dust, before kicking another back and dodging a swipe from the second. She came up, staked the second through the heart, before turning to finish off the third. She paused to catch her breath before turning to see if any more enemies were nearby when she noticed a scrawny man with a journal watching her.

He was simply writing this all down as he smiles "Quite a few moves there" he calls out.

Buffy eyed him warily, "What do you want?" she asked, still keeping a solid grip on the stake in her hand.

Buffy glanced down at the where the creatures had been before they turned to dust at her hands, "Vampires aren't really all that interesting."

"Nope, though we do have a man who runs around in a bat costume" he says. One of the vampires seems to get close, but something makes his nose seem to twitch as he starts to screech and squirm in fear.

Buffy stared in surprise, not having seen much like it, "Bat costume, huh?" she asked as she cautiously approached the struggling vampire, wondering what was making it act so out of character.

The creature looks at her and simply backs away as the man simply smirks.

Buffy, not noticing the man's smirk, slowly approached the creature, extremely confused as to why it seemed so incredibly afraid.

Buffy threw her stake, piercing its heart through its back, turning the creature to dust. "That's the strangest behavior I've seen in a vampire here," she noted softly.
