It was the day October 10th the anniversary of when the Nine tailed fox attacked the Hidden leaf but it was not just that. It was also the birthday of Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto never liked his birthday really. Every year was the same no one cared or knew he normally spend it alone. He thought maybe Hinata wouldn't know either so he just left to do some shopping. He was holding a bag of items back to the apartment.

Hinata put the last touches on the dinner she made. She was nervous. This was the first time she was actually allowed, or had time really, to help Naruto celebrate his birthday. Since her family frowned upon him, they forbid contact but now that they were no longer in Konoha, no one could stop her from sharing time with him. She made a small cake and had made homemade ramen. She had even found a present, though she was afraid he wouldn't like it.

Naruto soon came in to the apartment with the items and with a small smile. "Hinata I'm back." He walked to see the small dinner on the table he was surprised to see the ramen. "Whoa I didn't know you made dinner already. What's the occasion?" He chuckled lightly as he put the bag down and looked at Hinata with a small smile.

Hinata hesitated. Did Naruto not remember it was his own birthday? She wasn't even exactly sure how he would take this considering his past. "I-It's October 10th..." She said uncertainly. "I-It's your b-birthday..."

Narutos eyes widened when he realized that she wanted to celebrate his birthday. "My birthday? I didn't know you knew my birthday. I had thought no one bothered to learn it." He looked at her still surprised.

Hinata quickly looked down and started to press her fingers together. She swallowed nervously. "I-If you don't.... want to we c-could just have dinner and... pre-pretend this didn't happen."

Naruto looked down and sniffed a little and wipe his nose. "No. You wanted to celebrate my birthday. I'm really happy. No one has ever wanted to celebrate my birthday. But I am wondering. How did you know today was my birthday?" He smiled as he sat down on the table.

Hinata blushed. "I-I asked S-Sakura." she admitted, "I h-had to bribe her." She looked away in embarrassment.

Naruto couldn't hold back a laugh on that one. He hit the table with a hand with his laughter. "Sakura? You bribed Sakura? Oh man I wish I could do what you did." He calm down with a chuckle. "So what did you bribe her with?"

Naruto snickered a little as he picked up chopsticks. "I'm glad I don't want to be a medic." He chuckled as he started to eat the ramen. His eyes went wide as he looked at the ramen. "Oh......my.....god....this is better then Ichiraku's ramen. You are a great cook." He grinned looking at her.

Naruto grinned as he continued to eat the ramen with hunger. He kept on going until he ran out. He burped a little and sighed patting his stomach. "Excuse me but that was really good."

Naruto eyes almost shone with stars as he looked at Hinata. "Yes please." He clapped as he couldn't wait to get more of her great ramen.
