Katniss thought that it was a better idea shot the zpmbies first and then tell to the team. And that's what she did, one zombie by another were being hitted on the brain. Now she was sure she could hit them without feeling guilty and fear, maybe because all where kind of far from her and she couldn't see his eyes dying, again.

After killing all and each one of them... again, she went inside with the men, running just to tell them that zombies were close so they could do fast their job and go out from there, she was helping too, grabbing things and placing in the car.
