This world was a real apocalypse, though it took Kane a few hours to find a large place full of zombies. His men cleared it out and established a base albeit now as powerful as a normal base with only Militia soldiers, Commando, and Kane himself their. They got a old tower working and sent out coordinates of the military base as the soldiers fire on zombies to keep the entrance clear as best they can.

Katniss was in zombie zone, she didn't knew where she was until she saw dead persons walking, cover with blood and things like that, it was new for her, she shoot them with her bow, shooting in where the heart should be, but they keeped walking to her. She wasn't scared, she was brave, but she couldn't understand how it's possible that, how they still can walk.

From afar sounds of gunfire echo as Militia soldiers walk through town and fire with headshots as they were a group of eight soldiers.

Katniss was chosing if shot one in the head, then she remembered that is a weak point, to call it somehow. When a zombie was closer to her, she shot him quickly on the head, the dead guy was dead... again. He felt on the ground close at her feet. "So... the head." Katniss say to herself.

The soldiers pile up the bodies and start to burn them setting off a pillar of smoke like a sign of where they are.

Katniss could finally kill the zombies that were around her, she was tired and arrows it were less. "Damn it." Katniss said complaining. Continuous walking, looking for a place to rest, then she saw smoke in the sky, she remembered a rule that an old friend had given to her, never make fire, it attracts hunters, but the smoke was bigger, so she went to see.

The pile got bigger as it looked like military men who were burning undead corpses and shooting some to make sure they were dead before tossing them into a fire. It looked like twelve people armed with rifles and flamethrowers.

Katniss contined walking getting close from they were. She saw the men throwing bodies to fire, she saw the men were dressed military. But she didn't went closer to them, were men and armed. "Bad combination." She say to herself.

A soldier talks into a comm "Lord Kane, we have cleared Sector 4. Moving on to Sector 5" he says. They people pack up and start to move in Katniss's direction as it was the path to Sector 5.

Katniss was ready to left that place but when she step a rock that looked flat, she loses her balance and falls to the ground making some noise. "Gah..." Katniss complain, her bow felt away from her.

The soldiers hear it and look around. They find Katniss and aim at her "Are you infected?" one yells out at her.

Katniss quickly looked at the man with a defiant look. "Infected? What are you talking about?" Katniss asked at the uniform guy close at her, she didn't understand what he mean about 'infected'. She was new there after all.
Katniss slide her hand into her boot, where she keeps a knife, to protect her if the man tries to hurt her.

"Infected? As in have you been bitten by one of these things" he asks. A low growl is heard as zombies start to appear from alleyways "Aw hell! Look want to try your luck that's your choice. Want a highly defendable place then come with us" he says as they start to shoot the undead.

Katniss stand up and grab her bow. "No, i wasn't bite." She says grabbing an arrow, placing it in her bow ready to shoot anything that tried to hurt her. "I don't trust you." She say shooting to zombies.

"Well that's your choice, but our orders are clear" he says as they start to open fire more on the zombies "We are to rescue any survivors we can find. We don't have a lot of bullets, but the Raider will take you back to base for protection like others we've found" he says as he fires at three that were behind her.
