Starfire walked around the diner in her work uniform of a white shirt that covered much of her body a couple buttons open to show some chest. She also wore a red skirt showing off her strong orange legs. She wrote down an order with a smile and went to the kitchen.

Faith stepped into the diner. She yawned wearily. She had gone through a long day and she just wanted something to eat before she decided to call it quits. She was seated quickly and she glanced over her menu.

Starfire was told to take a table with a single woman there. She smiled as she walked to the table where Faith sat. She didn't see Faith behind the menu. She smiled friendly as she spoke in a friendly tone. "Welcome to our lovely diner may I take your order?"

Faith looked up when she heard that voice. "Starfire?" she asked in surprise.

Starfire looked in surprise as well as she looked at Faith. "Faith?" She then smiled clapping her hands. "This is glorious." She smiled as she looked at Faith.

Starfire smiled as she looked at Faith. "As I was not expecting to see you here. What would you like to order?" She smiled as she waited for Faith to order.

"Uh, the soup of the day," Faith said. "And a side of cornbread." She set her menu aside.

Starfire smiled as she looked at Faith and wrote her order down. "Okay I'll be back with your order." She smiled as she walked away.

Faith nodded. She sighed and looked around the diner. It wasn't anything fancy but it wasn't the hole in the wall dive she normally went to either.

Starfire was walking back with Faiths order. However a man that had tried flirting with her the other day. She had said no and he did not like it. He used his hand to make Starfires hand making her spill the order. She groaned as she knelt down and start to clean it up.

Faith had seen the incident. She quickly got to her feet and went to the man. "Piss off." she said. "Leave her alone."

Starfire looked up at Faith while grateful she came to defend her. She also worried she might start a scene and make her lose her jibe. The man laughed looking at Faith. "Ah ain't that cute. She thinks she can hurt me." He laughed shaking his head.

"I know I can!" Faith snapped. She threw a punch into the man's face, knocking him to the ground. She kicked him, hard in the ribs once he was down. "Pick on someone who can take it!"

Starfire ran over to Faith and grabbed her arms and pull her back. "Faith stop it!" She kept pulling Faith away from the man.
