Faith sighed. "You know what sweetie, you're too nice." she said. "You won't survive on the streets if you act this way."

"I mean making a living," Faith said. "Get yourself a good job, stay off the streets." She reached into the nightstand and found herself a pair of scissors. "Come here. I'm going to cut the gum out."

Faith carefully cut the hair and the gum out of the hair. She then threw away the offending hunk. "There. Better." she said.

Faith frowned. "Don't bow. You don't bow to anyone," she said firmly.

"Knock yourself out," Faith said.

Faith sighed. She had no idea why she took the girl in. Maybe because she had been that lot at one point. She made a face. There was no point in getting nostalgic. She started to undress and change into her night clothes - a small pair of shorts and a tank. It's all she had to her name aside from the money she earned at the Pudding 'nd Pie strip joint and the extra cash on the side from her paying customers.
