Esmeralda cut down the zombies around her with skill, but she was tiring quickly. Though her wound had healed, she still wasn't quite where she used to be in terms of stamina. Her swordsmanship skills had definitely improved from the time she'd first stolen them, but her side was starting to remind her just how much the effort to use them was going to cost her.
