Esmeralda shrugged and sat down at the bar as well, though two seats away from him, "Suit yourself, I suppose. I think I'd personally take a short life with emotions over an immortal life with none."

Esmeralda shrugs, "Will do," she says as she walks around the bar, grinning when she finds a bottle of alcohol. This was one of the few times she wished she could read, but she took a swig anyway and loved the feel of what she knew to be whiskey burning its way down her throat.
