"It freezes." He mused. "I get it but, calm down." He ran his hand over the frozen gun. "I'm a gunsmith. I can make something that won't freeze like this. Or I could let you use my sword. This gun will be fine. I'm not mad."

"It's not only the gun Squall." Jack replied now looking his eyes. "It's everything." Jack answered sad and angry at the same time but Squall words calm him down. "No." Jack shake his head. "Thanks Squall but I guess that's not my thing." Jack answered with a small smile.

"I get it." Squall said. "But you don't have to be so harsh on yourself about it." Squall picked up his sword. It was a half gun half sword mix. It could fire bullets just fine. "Try this." He offered the blade to Jack. "I've had blizzard spells cast at me and all this did was deflect them."

Jack without realizing, he was starting to be open with Squall, Jack, almost all the time he was the one who heard about peoples troubles.
But Jack wasn't expecting that Squall could understand him, even if Squall is a assasin he can touch and feel things, thing that Jack can not do but he smiled anyway. "I can't take it, it's yours." Jack say looking the sword and after at Squall.

Jack chuckles, seeing how Squall really try to him take one. "Thanks Squall. But I'm fine, really... besides..." Jack say as he move his magical staff fast, making an arrow of ice, hitting it in the center of training. "Icy guns are my thing." Jack said returning his sight at Squall.
