Korra felt like a total dick for asking that, 'cause he was right, it was a shame seeing spirits and knowing that she, one day, it will be the last one. One day she will see him.

Korra nodded, Death was right. He knows people place, year, month, day, hour even seconds when a person it's going to die and maybe talking about that with his victims will change his plans. "Wait, what? How?" Korra looked at Death surprised.

He looks at her "I have a schedule of people and when they die. If one person does not die then those who are suppose to die die instead till the original is dead. Say that their is a little girl in a hospital who is suppose to die, but doesn't. From her living, a man gets drunk from a divorce and drives recklessly and a nurse dies in a carwreck with same man. Both die because she lived." he says. He looks at her "And more will continue to die ahead of time till she is dead. Though at times I may just take your life myself. A simple touch and your cold as a corpse" he says.

Korra stood surprised, she felt her body shake in fear by Death words. She doesn't like the idea of killing a little girl but neither another people die in her place. "But... but she's just..." Korra didn't know what to say, the girl was too young to die. "How can you deal with that?"

Death looks at her "I've been around for many years Korra. I am as old or even older then God himself. I 'deal with it' because I feel nothing for you insects. Be she a young girl, a teenager, a adult, a old lady, or even a infant. If they are on the list, they die. It's no use caring about something as pointless as that. Like that war you stopped? So what, you protected a city while in a second about 30,000 could die around the world" he says keeping his solemn tone.

Korra gets upset by his comment. "What? Are you saying that stop that war was wrong?" She ask desafiantly. "Are you saying that should happen and let people die? That I shouldn't interfere?"
