Selina furtively checked for any guards before counting out the money she'd stolen from the filthy bastard who'd tried to lay hands on her. She was so sick and tired of men who thought they were entitled to her space and her time. One of these days, she might just be tempted to kill them all, equally.

Outside a bus screeches as it rams into one of the guards. In the crowd a man in a businessman outfit and cane touches the soldiers head as he knows of Selina nearby. He only lets her see him since she has died before and has now limited lives due to her 'curse'

She caught his eye and glared at the son of a bitch. She really didn't want to deal with him right now, "What the hell do you want? I don't plan on dying anytime today."

Death says "Simple, someone just died. Plus I will say you've got quite a few lives left, about 8 from count" he says.

She shrugged, "This is true. So I get to be blessed with your lovely face due to another person's demise, just my luck."

Death nods "Though it was a guard you stole from" he says.

She walks over to take a better look at the corpse, "Huh, I suppose you're right. Lucky he died today, now he won't be needing the money I so kindly relieved him of. At least he can die in peace, knowing it'll go to good use instead of being wasted by being covered in blood."

Death looks at her "Such a narrow view. What about the family that needs the money? They withheld 98% of his money for personal uses and forced one of his children to starve. It was a shame, he was only five" he says as he pulls out a hotdog and eats it. He nods "I will admit, the only good thing you mortals have is food" he says.

She glared at him, "So I'm supposed to feel bad about how the government screwed him over? Nice try. It's not my problem." She may or may not have already been trying to figure out a way to steal the money they had withheld from his family, but Death sure as hell didn't need to know that.

Death shrugs "And as always mortals are greedy insects. They steal from anyone and not care about the consequences till it's too late" he says.

She looks over at him and rolls her eyes, "You're so damn smug, thinking you can judge me. So tell me Death, do you care about the consequences of the lives you steal?" Besides, she would be doing his family a hell of a lot more of a favor than the government ever would if she could find a way to steal back the man's rightfully earned money and get it to them.

Death looks at her "Do you? You seem to show little care about who you steal from and whose lives you ruin and those you kill. For me, I stopped caring about.... fifty thousand years ago I believe" he says.

She shrugged, "Those who I've killed are mainly being paid well to kill me. It's kill or be killed, so I don't have much choice. Besides, I only steal from the very wealthy who have too good of a life to ruin. Had the army not held back his pay, that man would be a wealthy soldier. I had no way of knowing what the government did to him."

Death finishes the hotdog "Oh but for the wealthy, they need to become it to help someone important. Take the arms CEO for example, he was content at his low level job, but became needed of money when his wife went into a coma. She is still their and he is now a CEO because of this. Too bad his wife is going to die anyways" he says.

"I don't give a shit about their sob stories, she'll die in the lap of luxury with the latest medical care when millions will die on the street from much less severe afflictions due to lack of access to any care." She spit at his feet, "Don't feed me your twisted bullshit."
