Esmeralda nodded, "Of course. We've both had a few past relationships we haven't told each other about. Actually, we're not even really in an exclusive relationship yet, to be honest. I hope we'll become close enough someday, but both she and I are smart enough to take it slow. We've both been burned and both of us need some time to figure things out."
