Tifa lifted her makeshift weapon one last time and cracked open the head of the creature that attacked her. She was breathing wildly. One second she had been walking down the street and the next a portal swallowed her up and a hoard of creatures that were beyond any human she had ever seen attacked her.

Naruto had walked around until a portal opened up and sucked him in. He yelled as he fell onto the ground and hit it. He groaned as he rubs his head and shook it. "Ow where am I?"

Tifa looked up sharply. She held her weapon in her hands before lashing out, only she stopped before she hit him. "You're not... Like them." She murmured.

Naruto raised an eyebrow confused as he stood up and looked at Tifa. "Like them? What are you talking about? Where are we?" He looked around as he saw ruins everywhere.

"Get up," Tifa advised. "We need to get out of here before more of them find us." She looked around warily.

Naruto nods as he got to his feet and looked around. "What are trying to find us?" He his heart almost stopped when he heard some strange groaning. He gulped as he looked around. "What was that?"

"They're not human." Tifa said. "Aim for the head and don't let them bite you!" She grabbed his sleeve and pulled him toward away from the sound.

Naruto yelped when he was being pulled away by Tifa. He ran with her away from the sound. Then he looked behind them and saw dead people walking. "Damn this is out of a horror movie." He tossed a kunai right into the head of one.

"Don't yell." Tifa scolded breathlessly. "They follow noise." She pulled him into an abandoned building. She braced the door with a chair before checking for any of the other creatures.

Naruto crossed his arms as he looked at Tifa as his blonde hair blew in a small breeze by an open window. "Okay what the heck is going on here? Who are you?" He was not going to budge this time. He wanted answers and he wanted them right now.

"I don't know anymore than you do." Tifa replied heatedly. "Those things attacked people. When those people got bit they changed too. The only way that works to stop them is to destroy the head." She sighed and looked up at him wearily. "My name is Tifa. And you are?"

Naruto sighed a little thinking he was a little hard on this woman in front of him. "Naruto Uzumaki nice to meet you." He gave a small friendly smile as he offered her a hand to shake.

Tifa shook his hand, but she also checked to make sure he wasn't bitten.

Naruto smiled as he put his hands behind his head and looked at her. "You found me before those things saw me so I'm not bitten. Put I think we should try and find food. There might be something around here we can use." He walks in the building seeing if he could find anything.

Tifa nodded. She stepped into the next room and checked for any of the inhuman creatures. "Clear for now."
