Esmeralda smiled, "Would it be alright if I gave you a hug?" This girl was growing on her much more quickly than most people even in her own world had. Maybe this town wasn't so bad after all.

Esmeralda felt pained that this young girl had never known such a basic human touch, but she smiled and held out her arms in open invitation, allowing Melody to make the first move so she could take it at her own pace, "It's one of my very favorite things, so I hope you don't mind if I tend to do it often. If I ever get on your nerves, feel free to let me know."

Esmeralda chuckled, "Well, I'm a terrible cook, so perhaps you can help me out, and let's see... I love dancing, perhaps we could get together and perform together sometime? We don't have to have an audience, but if we get good..." She trailed off and glanced down at Melody, "I think we could make some good money."
