Esmeralda shrugged lightly and grinned, "Try me, if it's more unbelievable than two gods who happen to be brothers who hate each other, then I'm all ears. I love good stories."

Esmeralda's eyes widened in surprise, she hadn't been expecting something quite like this. Then she remembered the question about a sea witch, and now it made slightly more sense. "How did you become human and end up here of all places?"

Esmeralda stared at the young woman in shock, she would have never guessed her to be a killer, "I'm so sorry that you had to go though that." Esmeralda had killed in self-defense as well, but though she knew what it was to take human life, she'd never been forced to kill one of her own family, "If you could... would you go back?"

Esmeralda looked at her in confusion, "What do you mean, I've heard of people who could return to their worlds through the portal. I haven't yet, but..."

Esmeralda's confusion only increased, "Wait why would she do something like that if people were trying to kill you?"

Esmeralda gently lays her hand on Ariel's arm, "Is something wrong?"

Esmeralda looks at Ariel's stomach in confusion, "Did you eat anything a little... strange recently?"
